Just to give you all a glimpse of what I'm currently excited about working on . . .
1) A lap quilt specially designed and in the works for someone who wanted a frog/drummer theme! Yes, you read that right! They asked for a quilt incorporating frogs (as in the amphibians!) and drums. And I found the perfect fabric with musical frogs playing drums, ukeleles, etc. so I am super excited about the challenge of making a semi-modern quilt using batiks and drummer frogs that will be enjoyed and cherished for years and years to come! A fine example of giving me an idea of your dream quilt and being able to see it come true!
2) An x-large receiving blanket. I had one already made (photos to come) of adorable flannel froggy fabric on one side and cheerful solid yellow flannel on the other, a gender-neutral perfect fit for a baby. These blankets I design and create are xl so that they can be your child's favorite blanket from infancy well into toddlerhood! The one I'm currently making has been requested to include the same froggy fabric on one side and a different fabric on the other, also xl.
3) Designing a baby or crib sized patchwork quilt -- in the process of choosing which patchwork design I want to go with for this particular quilt and which fabric selection I will utilize. It will be charming and irresistible! Someone will be snatching it up before I can finish it . . . these are precious gifts that will last a lifetime, made of high quality fabric, designed with experience and created with care and lots of love!
Be sure to stop in frequently as photos are being added as the projects come along and also as I purchase fabrics here and there to show you all! Have a lovely day!

Some Additional Details Re: What I Create and Sell!
Hello Friends!
Just wanted to mention in case I somehow forgot, a few things re: what I create and sell and what I am capable of!
1) I do make lovely receiving blankets. And they do not have to be the same, smaller size you find in the stores. I have one right now that is x-large, nicely oversized to be kept and used by the baby up through their toddler years! The one I have right now is over 40x50" and typically, the oversized ones will be about 40x40". Not too small and very sturdy and soft, as they are made from either flannel on both sides OR flannel on one side, soft regular cotton on the other side (the second choice is more like a whole-cloth quilt the way I make it). These sell for a great price, especially considering I use good fabric and you will have a say in the fabrics chosen according to current availability of course (unless you opt to buy one I've already created).
2) I am able to design and create quilts beside those for babies and toddlers. I also can make wall hangings or even lap quilts (what you'd use for a nap on the couch or to snuggle under to watch your favorite movie or read your beloved book!). Larger quilts can be arranged, so please, if you're interested, contact me as these are more time and labor intensive so naturally, I take special orders based on first-come-first-serve! The sky is the limit, practically, or in other words whatever I am comfortable in creating and whatever is available to me fabric-wise. :-)
3) For price quotes on any of the above OR if you have a question about something you haven't seen mentioned and are curious if I would make it, etc. please contact me or leave a comment or both! My email is doveofsnow@gmail.com Thank you! More photos to come as I continue working on projects. . . .

What Would YOU Want to See Featured in a Quilt?
Hello Friends!
So. . . the purpose of this post is to ask you, what would you want to see in a quilt as far as fabric designs? There are quite a few possibilities out there, some I wouldn't have even of dreamed of finding in fabric selections. I have my own favorites of course, but I'm wanting to hear what others think? Perhaps if this post fares well in responses from you all, I will ask occasionally again in the future!
What do you love to see in a quilt, either a wall hanging quilt to brighten up and add interest to your wall or your tabletop or quilt rack, or in a baby quilt?
Would you love to see Sock Monkeys all over a quilt? Owls? Cars? Elephants? Frogs? Turtles? Dogs? Cats? Birds? Musical instruments? Flowers? Polka dots? Stripes? Coffee cups? Ballerinas? Everything vintage? Interesting geometric designs? Anything else?
Which colors and color combinations do you prefer? Or do you think you'd prefer? Brights? Jewel tones? Pastels? Antiques? Earth tones?
Please stop in and tell me anything and everything you think! All input is appreciated!

Photos have been added!
Hello Friends!
Thank you for stopping in! Be sure to check out my new Photos! page up at the top of my blog. Just click on Photos! and you will see the page where I will be showcasing some quilt examples as well as fabric samples I currently have on hand.
It is my desire to make quilts that are personalized. Folks cannot walk into a typical store or even a baby store and order a quilt made with the colors of their choice. This is an option I want to offer to you and 9 times out of 10, as long as the fabric is available that is, I will be able to do that per your request!
Also to come soon to the Photos page, there will be examples of another very special personalized touch that I can add to your quilts per your request: dedications. This can be simply the monogram or the name of the child who is being given the quilt, as well as their birth date, birth weight and length, etc. if so desired. It can also be something as special as a favorite scripture verse chosen by the person giving the quilt, a favorite quote, or a short message! I can do all of these things and make them a beautiful addition to the quilt for a small additional cost.
For now, please check out the photos already up on my site, and be sure to stop in regularly as I will have examples of the special additions I offer in the Photos sections before long! More quilt examples/fabric samples to come soon, as well as pricing.
**I can and am willing to ship orders to anywhere in the USA as well as overseas: shipping costs will be covered by customer.

There will be many changes here in the near future so please stop in and keep in the loop!
