The person who received this blanket as a gift for their newborn is quite pleased!

"Squeaks" the baby penguin, modeling a lightweight baby quilt perfect for the warmer months!  This will keep baby cozy without being too hot.  This quilt is reversible; spring green side is cotton fabric, pink side with whimsical birds is soft cotton flannel.  All the fabric I use is 100% cotton, washed and dried in gentle, unscented detergent.

This adorable summer weight baby quilt is larger than many, and will be a favorite long into toddler hood. It will be able to withstand many washings and lots of use!  Size is approx. 41" x 41"

You can sort of see the edges, they have all been cut carefully to prove impossible to unravel.

This is a close-up for seeing the adorable birds on the soft flannel, as well as the beautiful and sturdy special stitching that has been done diagonally across the entire quilt at intentionally varied widths to add interest and stability.

Many quilts I create have the potential to be one-of-a-kind, as the fabric can go out of stock before I have the chance to purchase the exact same fabric again.
